FAQs

How do I remove face paint?

Gently rub plain hand soap on the paint surface and wash with warm water. Do not splash with water first because the water acts as a barrier and the soap won’t be able to penetrate the paint.

I have a design where red was used and now it’s stained on my cheek, what can I do?

Some colors have a higher pigmentation such as greens and reds. Let plain soap soak longer on skin before washing off.

My skin is sensitive, can I still get face painted?

Although unlikely, I cannot guarantee a reaction will not occur. The paints are hypoallergenic and some contain coconut oil and other ingredients that some may be sensitive to. But I can do a skin test. I can put a small amount of paint on the inside of your wrist and let it set for 5 minutes to see if there is any reaction with parent/guardian permission.

What if my child is sick and I have to cancel the birthday party?

I have a 24-hour cancellation policy. As long as I am notified within 24 hours prior to the start of the party, you will not be charged and may reschedule. Health & safety is my #1 concern.

How long will my glitter tattoo last?

Glitter tattoos can last 5-7 days even with bathing. For easy removal: gently rub coconut oil, baby oil or olive oil directly on the tattoo until the glue starts to break down. Keep applying more oil once the glitter starts to loosen. Wipe away as much as you can then gently wash with soap and water until clean.

I want a face painter at my 2 year old’s birthday party, would you recommend?

It is not recommended to paint children under 3 years old due to their more sensitive skin. The health & safety of my customers is my #1 concern.
